Terms and conditions
Thank you for choosing to do your driving lessons with GoZondo Driving School.
In order for you to have the best experience and get the most from these lessons we have set out some terms and conditions that will protect both you and the driving school.
Please ensure that you have a valid provisional licence before the start of your lesson.
Payment of lessons must be made before each lesson is booked. If a lesson is not paid for before it is confirmed, preference will be given to anyone who has already paid who wants that time slot.
Payment must be made by one of the following methods:
If you wish to cancel a lesson, it must be done so at least 48 hours in advance. Any lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged. If for whatever reason you cannot do the lesson, you must inform your instructor as soon as possible.
If you are late for your lesson, please let the instructor know how late you are going to be, the lesson will still finish at the original time so arriving late will mean that you will have a shorter lesson but will still be charged for a full lesson.
Changing the time of your lesson
If you wish to change the time of the lesson, you may ask your instructor and if possible they may change it. If it is not possible you will still have to do the original time and if it is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice then you will still be charged for that lesson.
Drugs and Alcohol
As driving under the influence is highly dangerous and illegal, we do not tolerate anyone coming to lessons under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If your instructor has reason to believe that you are not fit drive due to drugs or alcohol, your lesson will be cancelled and you will be charged for that lesson. You will not be able to do any further lessons with us. For this reason it is important that if you have a driving lesson and you plan to go on a night out before, remember that if you drink it will still be in your system the next day so take this into account when deciding how much to drink.
Fit to drive
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit to drive. This means that you are not too tired, hungover or anything else that may mean you are not fit to drive. If it is deemed that you are not fit to drive, you will still be charged if less than 48 hours notice has been given before the lesson
We expect our learners to behave on lessons so we will not accept rude or bad attitude towards other road users.
Booking driving test
Before booking a driving test, you must first talk to your instructor to ensure that they are available and also that you are ready are ready to take the test. If you book without consulting your instructor they may not be able take you to the test and you may have to go in your own car.
